Currently they seek Two Technical Design Directors to head up the operation in Qatar to drive the operation of the business and projects forward. With the expanding business over the next few years, these Positions will hold key responsibilities for project management of exclusive developments, client liaison and representation, recruitment for the design studio across Architecture.
The successful candidates will have proven leadership and operational management experience at the Director or Associate level within a reputable Architectural Design firm.
With experience in Management, Financial and Operational aspects of a firm or department in a design and build firm, these successful candidates will have a wide range of completed projects completed whilst under their leadership. These projects should be of large scale, Iconic design and with a proven experience of hands on project management.
These candidates will be able to demonstrate experience in project and management post Graduation of Bachelor of Architecture, ideally Registered with RIBA, RAIA, or the AIA.

Principal Town Planner -Dubai

An opportunity has arisen for a Principal Town Planner to join the team on the World's Largest Waterfront project. Such an opportunity should not be missed.
The successful candidate will have a Degree in Town Planning, Geography or related discipline. Post Graduation qualifications in urban design or heritage conservation are not essential, but would be considered ideal to compliment the projects to be exercised upon.
Experience in both statutory (ie. Development Applications) and Strategic Planning (i.e Masterplanning) is preferred, and should be proven through a wide range of varied project experience.
Expertise in Masterplanning is Essential as this is will encompass a large proportion of the work expected to be delivered.
Previous Management and Team mentoring experience would be welcomed, however not essential. The ability to manage a medium sized team will be expected.
Recent UAE or Gulf experience is ideal, within Government or private sector consulting.

Principal Urban Designer -Dubai

A Principal Urban Designer is currently being recruited. They will be responsible for the leadership and direction of the urban design components in structure plans, masterplans and associated planning strategies, reports and documents. This person will oversee the development of the World's Largest Waterfront project.
This role will be to:

  • Provide leadership through transparent performance management, communication and encouragement of performance excellence and a collaborative approach within the Planning Team and the Planning and Design Unit.
  • Support line leadership so they can complete work within the time required and attract/retain appropriately skilled staff to grow the Unit into a multi-generational business.
  • Ensure management and leadership development and succession planning are in place to ensure an enduring business.
  • Encourage a culture of professional development and self improvement with the Planning Team and the Planning and Design Unit.
  • Promote design excellence and sustainabiilty as key components of the work of the Urban Design Team and the Planning and Design Unit.

The Successful candidate will have experience in Large Scale Urban Design, Master Planning projects, in an International environment. Client side or Development experience would be Advantageous.
Design and Management of projects of varying nature and intent is necessary. Candidates will ideally have recent UAE or Gulf project experience, however not essential.
