Senior Interior Designer,
Hotels and Workplace. International Architectural Practice,
Middle East Projects. Job location- London.
Temporary to ongoing contract, initially 7 weeks.
Join this world renowned
international practice and produce concept designs for five and
six star hotels. Our client has offices in the UK, Europe and
the Middle East; the company has produced masterplans and architectural
designs for a number of large, mixed use projects in the Middle
East and they are now progressing on the interior design for
the hotel and office elements of these projects. They would like
to provide a temporary to permanent contract for a talented senior
interior designer who has previous experience of leading the
concept design for either hotels or high end residential projects.
The interiors team is based in London and employs around twenty
people; the vacancy has come about due to an increased workload
coming from the companies Middle East offices. The contracts
will initially run for six to seven weeks; after this point the
work load will be assessed and a permanent job will be offered
subject to satisfactory performance and associated work load.

Layout Designer, Retail.

This prolific retail
group has many well known high street brands in its portfolio.
Rather than being restricted to one of these brands, the store
planning and design team work across 12 brands. This provides
an interesting and ever changing workload for the team as well
as the added job security afforded through a balanced portfolio.
The team project team employs interior designers, space planners,
store planners, project coordinators and design managers. The
layout designer will develop creative design and layout solutions
which meet the group's requirements in accordance with the brand
corporate identity and brand values, specific brief requirements,
cost effectiveness and scalability. The jobholder will have regular
structured meetings with other designers, space planners and
development operatives within the group to review briefs and
solutions. The role carries the responsibility to develop strong
working relationships with UK commercial directors, operational
directors and store coordinators, whilst taking every opportunity
to analyse, challenge and clarify briefs that are received ensuring
that both the operational and strategic objectives of the brands
are met. Responsibilities will include producing and delivering
packages for construction, fit-out and tender purpose containing
feasibility schemes, site plans, floor plans, furniture plans,
signage & ceiling decorations. It is anticipated that the
successful candidate will be working on 30 to 50 projects per
annum, in addition to a number of smaller relays and feasibility
schemes. The jobholder must be aware of market trends, customer
expectations and competition and apply the results to specific
projects. With plenty of scope to progress through the ranks,
a large projected workload and a generous benefits package, this

use AutoCad and have a creative, design background. Previous
experience of retail projects is preferred although not essential.
