Sid Lee Architecture is an expanding global enterprise, with
international projects in Canada, Holland and China. We
conceive and communicate experiences through spaces and places.
We are currently in the process of developing this new integrated
multidisciplinary approach, and we believe our clients around
the world will benefit greatly.
Role
We're looking for an architect whose specialty and experience
is focused around the design and implementation of multi-unit
residential building projects. The selected candidate will be
required to drive the development of these projects for
the firm to play a direct role in the projects' design,
scheduling, choice of materials and technical specifications.
Responsibilities
- Develop design concepts and
follow them through to implementation;
- Lead the development of plans,
technical specifications and cost estimates.
Requirements
- ·A registered architect
with the Quebec Order of Architects;
- 5-10 years of diverse experience;
- Excellent knowledge of materials,
and production and assembly techniques;
- Ability to develop floor plans
for multi-unit housing projects;
- Experience in furniture design,
and knowledge of lighting, acoustics and ergonomics are an asset;
- Knowledge of suppliers, manufacturers
and technical representatives;
- Ability to work on diverse mandates,
demonstrating leadership qualities and excellent interpersonal
and communication skills;
- Fluency in French and English
(oral and written);
- Proficiency with Autocad is
a pre-requisite;
- Knowledge of Photoshop is an
asset.
