Architect Construction Disputes Consultant
Salary: £70k basic plus

The Place
A leading International
Consulting firm is looking for a Senior Architect to join their
rapidly growing Construction Disputes team, a leading provider
of expert witness/ technical and quantum expertise in construction
disputes.
You will provide expert consulting
services to an international client base including standard of
care assessments, professional negligence, and defective construction
analysis, due diligence appraisal, design process risk management,
building technology and materials evaluation. The areas of expertise
include architecture, construction/project management, civil,
structural, tunneling, geotechnical, process, oil and gas, and
M&E building services and engineering.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide technical advice and
opinion on matters relating to architectural construction
- Assist with expert opinion and
testimony for claims relating to construction defects, professional
negligence contractual compliance and standard of care
- Identify and progress new client
relationships including using own contact network; identify new
offerings; new approaches and manage and develop relationships
with existing clients
The Role & Competencies
- We are looking for a registered
Architect with a wide range of technical knowledge and experience
of all aspects of the building envelope and construction technology.
- Wealth of architectural experience
gained with a leading architectural practice or equivalent required.
Ideally we are looking for someone with a consultancy background
or wide range of experience on project based work
- The successful candidate will
have experience in giving technical advice on matters relating
to architectural construction and construction disputes.
- Having undertaken an expert
witness role on sizeable construction dispute matter will be
a significant advantage to your application.
